Michael Jackson's Friend Raffles van Exel Calls for NBC To Cancel Dr. Conrad Murray Documentary

Hollywood, California (PRWEB) November 10, 2011

Raffles van Exel, Founder & CEO of Raffles Entertainment, and long time friend of Michael Jackson, joins Michael Jackson's sister La Toya Jackson, colleague Jack Wishna, Michael Jackson's Estate, and fans of Michael Jackson's in calling for NBC Universal and MSNBC to drop the documentary "Michael Jackson and the Doctor - A Fatal Friendship" that's set to air Friday, November 11, 2011.

"Michael Jackson was a tragic victim of a homicide. Michael's life was taken from him by Dr. Conrad Murray. A jury of his peers convicted Dr. Murray of Involuntary Manslaughter on November 7, 2011. During the trial, Conrad Murray had the chance to defend himself and tell his side of the story. Murray chose not to, which was his right." States Raffles van Exel. "However, it is troubling that Murray would give an interview to NBC while a court mandated gag order was in effect. Adding insult to injury, according to a report published by Radaronline.com, NBC Universal allegedly paid over 300,000.00 for the documentary that is set to air shortly. My friend, Michael Jackson can no longer defend himself against any accusations. What's being done is deplorable."

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor issued a gag order in the Trial of Dr. Conrad Murray on September 30, 2011. The gag order strictly prohibited Dr. Conrad Murray, his lawyers and anyone associated with the case to speak with media outlets. Dr. Conrad Murray conducted an interview with NBC News Correspondent Savannah Guthrie during the Involuntary Manslaughter trial.

MSNBC plans to air "Michael Jackson and the Doctor: A Fatal Friendship" on Friday, November 11th, 2011 and Monday November 14th 2011.

"I have remained silent regarding the circumstances surrounding Michael Jackson's death. But with MSNBC's decision to air this questionable documentary, I must speak out for my friend whose voice was forever silenced on June 25, 2009. I stand with the fans of Michael Jackson, whom Michael called his Army of Love." States Raffles van Exel. "These fans are requesting NBC Universal and MSNBC not to air this documentary. I ask all of Michael Jackson's friends and family to join me in support of Michael's fans and fan clubs in their pursuit of media fairness and responsibility for Michael Jackson."

San Francisco Corporate Photographer Michael Soo Explains How to Make Everyone Look Good in a Group Shot

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) November 01, 2011

Traditionally, getting a group photo that makes everyone happy has been nearly impossible. But San Francisco corporate photographer Michael Soo has has found a solution: taking individual portraits, and putting them together using the magic of Photoshop. In the latest post on his photography blog, Soo explains how this innovation is taking the hassle out of company photos, saving everyone time and tears.

?Anyone who has ever attempted to pick out the best company picture has run into the eternal problem of group photos: there is never one that everyone likes,? Soo notes. ?Someone is always blinking, making a weird face, sticking out their gut, looking in the wrong direction, sneezing, etc.?

Soo says many companies are opting out of the whole headache, and choosing to have each team member photographed individually, with the best picture of each person merged together afterwards in Photoshop.

In Soo?s new blog post, the San Francisco company photo specialist explains 6 benefits of this new technique:

1.????No one will be unhappy with the final result anymore. Because they were photographed individually, each person can select their best photo out of 10-30 photographs taken.

2.????It?s easier for everyone to find the time to show up for the photo shoot. Scheduling a group of busy professionals is exponentially harder than individuals.

3.????If a team member is added or removed from the team, there?s no need to schedule EVERYONE for another group photo. We simply book a shoot with the new person, and add them to the shot.

4.????It?s so much easier and quicker to set up the shot, because the amount of space needed to take this type of group photo can be 10-20 times smaller than for a traditional group shot.

5.????The same individual pictures can be inserted into various group pictures, so if someone works in more than one department, we can use the same portrait in multiple departments of a corporation!

6.????And of course, it looks super cool. We play with the arrangement, and add in shadows and lighting techniques, so it appears that everyone was in the same place at the same time, and just magically happened to all look amazing!

Soo notes that while this method does cost more than traditional group photography, it saves on the cost of coordinating schedules and having to do retakes. Plus, the end result makes the whole group happy.

?If you want a group photo you?ll actually be proud to post on your website and hang in your office, consider trading in the traditional technique for our more modern method,? he suggests.

San Francisco Videographer Michael Soo Introduces Inspirational Marketing Tool: Video Testimonials

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) November 19, 2011

These days, consumers are making decisions about where to take their business by finding and comparing companies, people and products online. The Pew Research Center survey on Internet use has found that 78% of adult Internet users look for information about a service or product they are considering buying, and 69% search for information about someone they know or might meet. Savvy businesses know they have to find innovative ways to stand apart from the competition. San Francisco videographer Michael Soo has found a great new way to capture the attention of website visitors: video testimonials.

?Written testimonials, as you may have noticed, are overused. Many websites have them, and while visitors may take the time to scan the page, the information doesn?t really sink in.? notes Soo, the San Francisco filmmaker. ?It's nothing like staring into the eyes of someone who is raving about the person or company the viewer is considering. It's an easy sell, and the best part is that you don't need to brag about yourself.?

Soo Photography recently created a video testimonial for real estate agent Terel Beppu. Viewers see Beppu?s clients speak from the heart about their experiences, often with their family in the house he helped them find. The video also gives viewers a chance to see how Beppu operates, and get a sense of how driven and committed he is.

?You get to know his personality a bit, and see how dedicated he is to what he does. You naturally start to imagine what it would be like to work with Terel,? says Soo.

The San Francisco commercial photographer and videographer notes that the amount of information presented in even a short video is much greater than text, and more likely to capture visitors? attention. He recommends video testimonials for companies, professionals and products, and says they can even be effective for dating services.

Noting that the Pew Research Center survey also found that 71% of adults watch videos online, Soo points out, ?If you post it, they will watch.?

Michael Soo is also a videographer and director of wedding invitation videos, behind-the-scenes videos, and more.
